Day 01 : Arrive in Delhi

in Delhi , meet and greet at the airport and transfer to hotel . overnight at

Day 02 : Delhi
Morning tour of historic city of Old Delhi to include magnificent Red Fort,
The Jama Masjid , India`s largest mosque, Rajghat - memorial of Mahatma Gandhi
& a Rickshaw ride past through the silver street in Chandani Chowk .
Afternoon sightseeing in New Delhi to include Humayun`s Tomb, Bhai Temple
, Qutab Minar , India gate and Government buildings . overnight at Hotel
Day 03 : Delhi - Jaipur ( 265 kms )
Morning drive to Jaipur ( 265 kms ) , on arival check in at hotel . Afternoon
tour of the Pink City will include City Palace, still home to the Maharaja
although several of the rooms are now open to the public. Many antiques and
artefacts belonging to the ruling family are housed here. Also visit the Hawa
Mahal "Palace of the Winds", and the open-air Jantar Mantar Observatory
to see the vast astronomical instruments. Enjoy a stroll through the colourful
bazaar before returning to your hotel. overnight at hotel .
Day 04 : Jaipur - Amber - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra
Morning tour of the impressive Amber Fort, situated on a ridge just outside
Jaipur City. At the foot of the hill you will mount your caparisoned Elephant
for the climb to the main gate. The Fort, completed in the early 18th century,
took over 100 years to build and now, although deserted, offers a fascinating
insight into the lifestyle of the Moghul ruling families.
Later drive to Agra ( 235 kms ) enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri . Fatehpur Sikri
designed by Akbar as his capital , was lived in for only a very few years
. It is beautiful architectural city built of Red sandstone . Evening arrive
in Agra . overnight at hotel
Day 05 : Agra - Umaria
Morning proceed for half sightseeing of Agra . Agra is the home of the Taj Mahal
and the famous Red Fort. The Moghul Emperor Shah Jehan built the extravagant
Taj Mahal as a mausoleum for his most beloved wife and was imprisoned in the
Red Fort overlooking the Taj by his son until death . Both buildings are truly
spectacular and the Taj Mahal is now one of the wonders of the World.
Evening transfer to Railway station for overnight train to Umeria . Overnight
on board .
Day 06 : Umaria - Bandhavgarh ( 32 kms )
On arrival at Umeria railway station you will be met and transferred to Bandhavgarh
National Park . Afternoon Jeep safari in the National Park .
The density of the tiger population at Bandhavgarh is relatively high. The
possibility of spotting Sloth Bear, Wild Boar, Leopard and Tiger is very good.
The park is also densely populated with animals like the Chital (Spotted Deer),
Sambar, Barking Deer, Nilgai (Blue Bull), Chowsingha (Four Horned Antelope)
and is rich in bird life.
The terrain is rocky, rising sharply from the swampy and densely forested
valley. The finest of these hills is Badhavgarh which is bounded by great
cliffs and eroded rocks. The Bandhavgarh Fort, believed to be 2000 years old,
stands at the highest point. There is a temple at the fort that can be visited
by jeeps. Scattered throughout the park, particularly around the fort, are
numerous caves containing shrines with ancient Sanskrit inscriptions. The
ramparts of the fort provide a home for vultures, blue rock thrushes and crag

Day 07 : Bandhavgarh

Day 08 : Bandhavgarh - Khajuraho
Morning once again safari in the National Park , aftaer breakfast adrive to
Khajuraho . Evening arrive in Khajuraho , on arrival check in at hotel . Overnight
Day 09 : Khajuraho - Varanasi
Morning visit the most important and fascinating western group of temples.
The temples of Khajuraho have been declared a 'world heritage' site by UNESCO
in order to preserve the rich legacy of architecture, bequeathed to future
generations by the Kings of the Chandela dynasty. These temples are famous
for their intricate sculptures and erotic carvings that are one of the outstanding
achievements of Indian art.
Later transfer to airport to connect flight to Varanasi ( 1330-1410 hrs )
, on arrival transfer to hotel . Overnight at Hotel
Day 10 : Varanasi
This morning an early start for a dawn boat cruise on the Ganges river . Ritual
is a very important aspect of Hinduism and there is no better place to observe
it than at the Ganges. You will view the thread ceremony, head shaving and food
being offered to the departing souls. Also along its bank witness devotees bathing,
cremating their dead and doing laundry . A walk through narrow twisting lanes
will give you a chance to witness the various rituals of the pilgrims .
Morning sightseeing tour of Varanasi : the eaternal city . The most scared pilgrim
centre in India and a major tourist attraction . An ancient centre of learning

Varanasi
has always been the seat of renowned universities having been known as Kansi
and Benaras at different times , the city is now known by its ancient name which
means the region between the two rivers Varuna and Asi . Situated along the
west bank of the Ganges devout Hindus belive that death at this place ensures
certain entry into heaven .
Sightseeing include The Bharat Mata Temple : dedicated to the Indian nation
, it is unique in that instead of deities it enshrines the most perfect relif
map of India carved in marble . The Durga Temple commonly known a monkey temple
dedicated to goddess Durga , The Thulasi Manas temples and Benaras Hindu university

Afternoon excursion to Sarnath ( 9 kms ) an important pilgrimage centre for
Buddhist . This is where the Buddha preached his first sermon after getting
enlightenment . The city is famous for its magnificent stupas , monasteries
and temples . overnight at Hotel
Day 11 : Varanasi - Delhi
Morning free , later transfer to airport to connect flight to delhi ( 1440-1600
hrs ) , on arrival transfer to hotel . Overnight at Hotel
